If you’re looking for a time to go to Yosemite, you may want to consider going August 25-28 as the entry is free.
Remember, this has typically been a very weekend in the park which means that there will be traffic and more importantly, people looking for something to escape the crowds. So make sure that your shop doors are open and ready for the overflow.
The Visitor Center will be informing guests that trying to get into the park after 10:30 AM will be difficult due to low parking and will be suggesting people to stay in town until after 3:30 PM or encouraging them to go to Yosemite the next morning. This means that you should have plenty of business between 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM so be prepared for it.
If you’re a local wanting to go to Yosemite on this weekend, it would be best to leave early so as to be there before 9:00 AM so that you can find a parking spot.
