Well the despite the weather, Sierra Tel had a great turnout for their Network @ Night. It was also at this event that members got their Annual Membership Report for 2016. If you want to see the full report, click on the file below:
The report will also be mailed out to all members this coming week.
Chamber members were impressed with the Annual report. Cindy Harp who co-owns Harp Insurance Services said, “It’s good to see the Chamber is dynamic in this community.”
Erin Magdaleno of CFCR & Catering did a phenomenal spread of appetizers and delicious desserts, the Chamber ran the bar boasting local wines and cider, and most importantly connections were made.
The New Executive Director Dave Thoeny was there to connect to Mariposa County businesses and government to find out what our community is looking for from job applicants as well as other needs it can provide.
“In no time at all, I was being introduced to County officials who were ready to talk about Economic Vitality,” Dave said during the evening. This was the first Network @ Night Dave Thoeny had come to in Mariposa County, and according to him, “I’ll be coming to more.”
Laura Norman of Sierra Tel said she was impressed with the turnout despite the weather. “There are about 30-40 people here at last count,” she said during the evening.
Sierra Tel gave away some great prizes including a Chromebook to our very own photographer, Dan Warsinger of Yosemite Photo. Dan and Laura Norman are pictured in the slideshow with his prize.
County Supervisor Kevin Cann was there along with recently elected County Supervisor Miles Menetrey. We even had Two candidates for John C. Fremont’s Hospital Board, Dr. Phil Derby and David Butler.
Thank you to all of our members and friends for coming out for a delightful evening.
