    Mariposa Public Utility District, Yosemite Area Audubon, and SFC have joined forces to offer a series of birding hikes. Join Docent and SFC Land Conservation Project Manager/Biologist Melissa Odell to learn resident bird species and take note of spring birds as they arrive at Stockton Creek Reservoir.

  • Makerspace Workshop/Sustainable Fashion

    Once a month, the Library offers free presentations and workshops through its Green S.T.E.A.M. Makerspace program. The workshops focus on sustainability and the five components of S.T.E.A.M.—science, technology, engineering, art and math. During each program, participants can make a product related to the day’s topic from used or sustainable materials.
    This project was supported in whole or in part by the U.S. Institute of Museum and Library Services under the provisions of the Library Services and Technology Act, administered in California by the State Librarian.

    Our Annual Mariposa Storytelling Festival brings you the best storytelling performances every 2nd weekend in March. Spring 2017 will be our 30th Storytelling Festival and the Grand Finale.

    The festival is in historic Mariposa, with storytelling events on March 9, 10, 11, 12, and 13.
