Hey! Made in Mariposa Members: Be in Our Christmas Store

The Mariposa County Chamber of Commerce invites Made in Mariposa members to participate in our Made in Mariposa Christmas Store. This is a free service provided by the Mariposa County Chamber of Commerce. The opening dates of the store will coincide with a Shop Local campaign.

Location: Mariposa County Visitor Center

Store Duration: November 25, 2016 through December 31, 2016
Store Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Daily

Eligibility

Participation in the Christmas Store is open to all Made in Mariposa members, who, in submitting a product, agree to abide by all rules and conditions stated herein. All products must meet the Made in Mariposa eligibility requirements.

All products must be approved for display by the staff of the Mariposa County Chamber of Commerce. Products will be accepted as space allows and at the sole discretion of the Chamber.

At this time, producers of beer and wine may only display their products, but may sell gift certificates.

Each Made in Mariposa member will be required to sign the Consignment Agreement in order to have his/her products included in the Christmas Store.

Identification

All products must be labeled with: (1) business name, and (2) sale price of the item.

Sales

All products displayed in the Christmas Store must be for sale, unless otherwise approved by the Mariposa County Chamber of Commerce.

The Mariposa County Chamber of Commerce operates the Visitor Center and is the authorized sales agent for all sales in the Christmas Store.

The member will receive one-hundred percent (100%) of the retail price of sold items, and the Chamber of Commerce will receive zero percent (0%). Applicable sales tax shall be collected by the Chamber and deducted from the proceeds of the sale before the proceeds are distributed. Proceed checks will be issued within 10 business days of the store’s closing.

Delivery of Inventory

Members must deliver their products to the Mariposa County Chamber of Commerce and Visitor Center between November 6, 2016 and November 17, 2016, by appointment only. Products will be inventoried at this time.

Unsold Product

Unsold product must be picked up between January 4, 2017 and January 13, 2017.
